For our hotel guests, admission to the Cavallino Matto Amusement Park is possible by collecting vouchers from us that can be turned into tickets at the cash desk at euro 27.00 for a full-price ticket and euro 22.00 for a reduced-price ticket (person up to 130 cm).

Gallorose Park only 15 minutes away: 3 km of trail with animals from the common farm and the rest of the world. A collection of species that are difficult to see. A unique thrill for young and old.

Wide sandy beaches

Just 5 km away is Marina di Castagneto Carducci with a wide, fine-grained sandy beach, well-equipped bathing establishments and large areas of free beach, surrounded by pine forest and Mediterranean scrub.

The beautiful Gulf of Baratti only 15 minutes away with a beach and rocky cliffs, where it is possible to visit the splendid Buca delle Fate (Fairies’ Hole), which can be reached via a downhill path of spontaneous vegetation and shrubs, leading to the magnificent coastline made up of extravagant shapes drawn on the rock by the weather.

Sterpaia Beach, a strikingly beautiful beach of soft golden sand, located between Piombino and Follonica, with the Sterpaia Natural Park behind it.

Cala Violina beach only 30 minutes away, one of the most beautiful beaches in the Maremma, with clear sand, crystal clear sea and unspoilt nature reserve.

Wine cellar tours and visits to the oil mill

Born in our area with its luxuriant vineyards, some of the best Tuscan wines renowned throughout the world, wines that have made the recent history of Italian oenology and are a perfect match for the local gastronomy.

Guided tours of local wine cellars can be organised by appointment.

Our area is also characterised by beautiful, centuries-old olive trees that give us an excellent extra virgin olive oil.

It is possible to book a visit to the oil mill with tasting.

Immediately behind the Tyrrhenian coast, at the foot of the foothills of the Metalliferous Hills, lies the territory of the municipality of Castagneto Carducci, the largest in the province of Livorno.

An almost intact strip of land of preserved nature, works of art, genuine products and good food, shops with ancient flavours, hospitality and tradition.

The roads with little trafficthe gentle and restful landscape, the consistently mild climate even in winterroutes suitable for the professional as well as the simple enthusiast, offer the possibility of cycling outings along the coast or towards the magical atmosphere of the Metalliferous Hills between Volterra and Massa Marittima, in the wild soul of the most authentic Maremma (the nearby Macchia della Magona should be explored), in the poetry of the Via Bolgherese and the Viale dei Cipressi that ‘a Bolgheri van da San Guido in duplice filar’.

The San Silvestro Archaeo-Minerary Park, a splendid open-air museum that tells the fascinating story of metalworking in Etruscan times and the centuries that followed, located in Campiglia Marittima, one of the most beautiful historic villages on the Etruscan Coast.

Near Campiglia Marittima we find Suvereto, a splendid medieval village, set on the slopes of the hills overlooking the sea i, in the green valley crossed by the Cornia river, rich in history and art.

The Baratti and Populonia Archaeological Park is a veritable open-air museum glittering with ferrous slag, bearing witness to the grandeur of the ancient industrial city of Populonia, the only Etruscan city built on the sea.

The Rimigliano Coastal Park, a green strip overlooking the sea, where the Mediterranean vegetation displays an exceptional variety of species, shapes and colours. dominated by holm oaks and stone pines, with their characteristic umbrella-like foliage.

For a day dedicated to the sea and nature, the islands of the Tuscan Archipelago: Elba, Capraia and Giglio, where during the summer months, numerous local organisations offer excursions and mini-cruises to discover the islands.
